Superbowl 2000 : Double the Hype!
Word on the street is that... EDS definitely won the Super-commercial-bowl. Chasing cats is at least sortof related to our everyday lives. (Click Here to visit the cats on the EDS website.) Did the dot-coms try to hard? Or is it still too early for couch potatoes to get excited about click-companies? Check back in 3 months and we'll recap which of the Suberbowl advertisers are still alive. Meanwhile, hurry to the newstand and you might still find this...
On newstands in January (thank goodness!).....

FROM DRONEZONE: 1998-99 SPORTS GRAPHICS
MonsterCrawler.com - Superbowl 2000 football links, search for links on NFL players, search for links on Tennessee Titans, search for links on St. Louis Rams
This animation was created as a spoof on the Miller Lite™ commercials mixing models and sports. (Not to mention the Cowboys' need for scoring help in the 1998 season!.) The model on the left is Bridget Hall. The animation was developed from merging two topmodel images on a perspective background, and then adding the football helment, goal post, and the cells for the football kick.

Recap 1999 Superbowl
©1999 Metrofashion- Denver and Elway were Superbowl winners- The Denver Broncos made it two (2) Superbowl victories in a row Sunday, January 31st, 1999, as they crushed the Atlanta Falcons in the second half and won Superbowl XXXIII. The game was exciting until about the third Atlanta drive in the 3rd quarter when the Flacons crossed the 50-yard line again, and stalled, again.
John Elway gained confidence and the awsome Denver arsenal started marching for repeated scores. Welcome to the big time, Atlanta! And, guess what, Elway may be back! More Superbowl Links from MonsterCrawler.com : 1999 NFL Draft : Fox Sports | CBS Sports | major networks

1999 Superbowl Commercials
1999 Big Game Ads are a Flop Low creativity and conservative advertising were on tap for the 1999 SuperBowl Sunday, as the only new stuff came from Victoria Secret and HotJobs.com. Two award-winning sports commercials, including the Visa ad with Steve Young (San Francisco 49ers), were played, but mostly Budweiser and Oldsmobile tried to convince us they were the "classic" old and the "psychodelic" new. Blah.

Budweiser frogs & lizards
The Budweiser frogs survived SuperBowl 1999, but the Lizards are the national favorite- what will happen next? From the Budweiser website:"Time to meet Frank and Louie, a couple of rejected actors who spend a lot of swamp time wishing the frogs would croak. Actually, only Louie's that close to the edge - Frank's a little more laid back and believes there's room in the Bayou for all kinds of slithery things."
