Rich fabrics, uncomplicated design, and extraordinary attention to detail.
As a company, Watters & Watters had a clear vision from the start. Vatana Watters and her sister saw a growing need in 1986 to reshape the design of bridesmaids dresses. Unlike traditional bridesmaids dresses of the past, Watters & Watters dresses stand the test of being worn again for extraordinary occasions of all kinds. While the company has grown considerably, their mission is still to make every woman who wears one of their dresses feel special. Read on for this season's bridalwear trends. What to wear that's unique yet classic? If you're looking for a few directions, consider this. One idea is tulle overlay that can be worn as an overskirt or a wrap. Another new bridal dress idea is the two-piece shown in antique color satin back taffeta, a bustier with a beautifully pleated back skirt. Very striking while you're up there getting all teary eyed at the altar. Silver French satin is also an unexpected, yet refreshing choice for a bridal dress. Remember that Watters & Watters can make any of the styles you see on their web site into a bridal dress in white or ivory.
What's new in fabrics? A lot. French faux fur in sage, orchid, periwinkle, latte, fudge, black and arctic fox. Floral brocade is available in burnished floral and blue floral. Wtoo's new soft Italian sweater knits are here in five yummy colors, white chocolate, peppermint dust, pixie stick, peaches and cream, and black licorice. Chiffon is available in all three collections, silk chiffon in V Collection, iridescent chiffon in Watters & Watters and iridescent dream chiffon in Wtoo.

Silhouettes. Clean. Classic. Understated. With that said, Watters & Watters do everything within reason to create drama, impact and intrigue with their designs. Here are some key features you'll be seeing in the new collections: Let's begin with A. The A-line silhouette, flattering to all shapes and sizes, remains strong in throughout the collections. Jackets play a bigger role than ever. The reversible satin and velvet shrug jacket is a great look as is the sheer chiffon jacket that can be worn many ways over their chiffon dresses. Watters & Watters is also doing a jacket in the new faux fur. If you're looking for cover ups, their collection includes removable stoles and boas and the new flutter scarf.
What else will you find in the collection? Flattering necklines, such as halters, funnel necks, bateau necklines, and softly draped cowls. The strapless remains an important style, both as a two-piece bustier with a skirt, or as a slim dress under a jacket. Back treatments are important as well. Some examples are the new versions of the bustle back and flared back skirts. And of course we should mention the cascade back dress, which was the chosen favorite last year on a television network morning news show wedding.
