But in this modern interpretation of the classic boy gets away story,
Katherine Heigl gets it right. Weddings are adrenaline experiences.
The bride is obsessed with her wedding dress, while the bridesmaids
accept the supporting cast role including the typically less than
fashionable bridesmaid dress.
But 27 dresses? Are there really 27 different ways to look pretty
but inconspicous? Heigl proves there are, and then gets her turn at
center stage. From satin to chiffon to tulle to bows to corsages,
Heigl's Jane primps and poses her way through way too many second
fiddle gowns. The fun is betting on when her selflessness will run
out of steam. |
