Television network TLC presents a new fashion series based on the story of famous swimsuit designer Ashley Paige and her efforts to build her fashion label business. The show is called Ashley Page: Bikini or Bust and airs Fridays at 10:00PM.

Season 1 Episode 5 Summary: Look at My Book. Ashley goes to a life coach and decides to turn her life around.

This is a particularly clever episode. While watching Ashley struggle through pushing herself to address her staff and complete her new collection LookBook, we also get to see what makes Ashley tick. Her comraderie and recruiting skills yield simple victories like acceptance and cooperation from her employees (some of whom are about to be non-employees) and a brilliant camera and classic pickup truck as prop for the shoot.

The LookBook is really critical since without it Ashley really cannot show off the hot collection she just catwalked at Fashion Week. But the LookBook is personal, too, so she wants to dive in and shoot it herself. The photo shoot is held on a busy street in Los Angeles as Ashley directs the models through poses, shoots, and changes. She does a great job and it reminds her of how much she loves her fashion business.

Later, back at the studio, she second guesses. The bright sun with no reflectors, the crowded street causing altered poses, the usual hassles of impromptu photoshoots. We will have to locate the LookBook to see how it all turned out.
