Louis Verdad likes to entertain in his fashion shows. Whether it's a sophisticated couple sauntering out on the runway to start the show or a common hair-piece that matches the runway design, Verdad's catwalk shows are always theatrical. And why not? Verdad is the darling of Hollwood starlets now , after his black cashmere jacket was worn during Madonna for that infamous MTV Movie Awards kiss with Britney Spears. Stars like Cate Blanchett, Kate Beckinsale, and Cameron Diaz love Verdad's clothes for edginess and suave.

Louis Verdad seems a demure person. He rarely upstages his collections, letting the designs speak for themselves. His workmanship is excellent and one can expect each seasonal collection to development from the last. For Fall Verdad is a master of utilizing browns, camels, and blacks to create the hot, urban, swanky look desired by powerful women. Spring then transforms into a wisp of vibrant but usually simplistic celebration of prints, florals, and black/white juxtopositions. Louis Verdad likes his women dressy, even when casual, and the result is a beautiful wardrobe of fine outfits for the city life.
