Waxes White in Spring 2007

a creamy latte of midtown profiles
©2007 Metrofashion.com- You can almost taste the froth. For Spring
Summer 2007, Louis Verdad led the Los Angeles Fashion Week designers
with white, cream, and pink-suiting silhouettes that promised a light
and lively 2007 spring season.
Verdad contrasts
round necklines and shorter hemlines with sex kitten blonde and black
wigs to create a playful spirit.
Spring trends include gold and sesame shimmer sheen, semi-structured
jackets and wide belts, and cream, candy white, and picnic colors
for relaxed downtown style. One highlight of the Louis Verdad Spring
2007 Los Angeles Collection is a gold twinkle knit tennis dress with
side buckles and foiled linen sheen.
Who's wearing it? Front row at Smashbox Studios for the Louis Verdad
show included Alexis Bledel, Garcelle Beauvais, Monet Mazur, and rising
star Paula Miranda (Perfect Stranger). Randy Jackson gave his
endorsement backstage. And Isabella Miko (cover photo) graced the
catwalk to close out the show with the designer himself.
