The Copenhagen Fashion Week showcases Dutch fashion designers, historically the avante garde of fashion. Cape Town Fashion Week in South Africa highlights rising African designers. August always finishes with the largest apparel trade show in the United States of America, Magic Las Vegas. In 2008, Magic Las Vegas includes the S.L.A.T.E. Show, a juried selection of brands from the fast-growing skate, surf and street communities.
