Globes 2003... Back in character, the 2003 Golden Globe Awards
from Hollywood were offbeat and highly entertaining, especially the celebrity
fashion. The "Deep V" was the theme of the evening with actresses wrapped
tight and revealing buff shoulders and arms. Looking more like a body shaping
event than a starlet lovefest, this year's Golden Globes stage presenters and
winners like Nicole Kidman, Salma Hayek, Laura Lenney, and, of course, Jennifer
Garner, showed off the "kick-butt" attitude that Hollywood in 2002 films
and television programs. Highlights: Catherine Zeta-Jones in Versace, last year's
standout Renee Zellweger wearing Valentino bloom couture, Beyonce Knowles wearing
a brocaded corset ball gown.
